Disclosure of your information
We will not sell, trade, distribute or disclose any information you provide us to a third party, unrelated to you. This means that if your license is owned by another organization, we may disclose information about your license to others in your organization. We will follow laws of Georgia and the US and will accommodate requests by duly authenticated law enforcement agencies.
Usage of your information
When you purchase something on from us, we collect various personal information from you to use for order processing and delivery. When you are entering your information we use encryption technology to help protect your information. Your credit card information is used to obtain payment and is retained for a period of time and may be used for administrative purposes. Your name and organization name are used to generate single workstation license keys. Multiple workstation keys are generated only using your organization name. Our web site may use cookies to track you through the ordering process.
Notification of updates and upgrades
We will send you notifications of new software updates and upgrades if you provide us with an email address. You may change your preference using the Registration form or by sending an e-mail to support@creativesoftworx.com. Once per week, your Capture Professional software will contact our web server to see if there is a more recent version. As with all Internet transactions, this sends your IP address to us. You can block this functionality with a firewall or by disabling the Internet update check on the General page of the Options dialog. In the future this check may send your serial number to us to perform as part of an automatic update process
Changes to this policy
As our business changes, we reserve the right to update this policy. Changes to this policy will be effective one month days after posting the new policy. If the policy is significantly changed, we will attempt to notify all customers via email. We assume no responsibility if your email address changes, if the email is blocked by a SPAM filter or for any other failure of the change to reach you in a timely fashion. This privacy policy will be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia.
