Main Window
This screen shot shows Capture Professional's main window with editing features displayed. Capture features are hidden in this screen shot. This image was marked up using Capture Professional's Filled Shape and Edit Object tools. The first shape was added with the Filled Shape tool using a 5-pixel red border, a dull yellow to dull red fill and black text. The first object was copied and altered using the Edit Object tool.
Areas
- This is the Standard toolbar it can be moved, hidden or reconfigured.
- This is the View toolbar it can be moved, hidden or reconfigured.
- This is the Edit toolbar it can be moved, hidden or reconfigured.
- This is the Convert toolbar it can be moved, hidden or reconfigured. It is not initially visible.
- This is the Macro toolbar it can be moved, hidden or reconfigured. It is not initially visible.
- These are the capture panes. Each one can be temporarily pulled down by clicking on or hovering the mouse over the tab.
- These tabs are for the open image and video windows. You can create multiple tab groups (not shown) if you need to compare multiple images or videos.
- This is the Filled tool which is currently active (see also #9, 10, 11 & 22)
- These are the shape settings for the Filled tool. In this case a standard rectangle at zero rotation is being added.
- These are the text settings for the Filled tool. In this case 41 point Arial text at a rotation of 40 degrees is centered vertically and horizontally within the shape (see also #17).
- These are the line settings for the border drawn by the Filled tool. In this case a 10-pixel wide dashed line (see also #14, 15).
- This is the foreground media well. It is not used by the Filled tool. In this case it contains color replace media. This well is not selected.
- This is the background media well. It is not used by the Filled tool, but could be used by an effect or operation. In this case it contains a hatch fill pattern.
- This in the primary line style media well. It is currently set to a white to black gradient. This can be seen in the shape being drawn above.
- This is the secondary line style media well. It is currently set to cyan at a Saturation of 25%. This means that the image is somewhat visible through it. This media well is selected which means that changes in #18 and 19 could will change the contents of this media well.
- This is the fill media well. It contains a strong pixelization effect which can be seen above.
- This is the text media well. It contains a tiled texture. This texture is used for the rotated text above. The texture itself is not rotated.
- These controls configure the color in the selected media well. In this case it is Red = 19, Green = 249, Blue = 255, Alpha = 255 (fully opaque) at a mix of 25%. Alpha values are only used for 32-bit color images.
- This are shows some of the available colors of the image. Clicking and moving the mouse in this area changes the controls to the left and the selected media well above.
- This is the status bar which is showing information about the shape being drawn.
- These switch the media type contained in the selected media well (#15) above.
- This is the mouse pointer for the current drawing tool.
